For a long time... i have found it very hard to like battles and wars wth swords but no guns in em...

Gladiator was the only one before this glorious albeit gruesome epic that i actually enjoyed...

I guess elves and orcs juz turns me off.... u knw whch film i m talking abt...


Nywayz... this movie was juz too good... i mean... it delivered the right amount of gore as advertised... and unlike other 'action' movies, it does not suffer frm illogical coincidences in the plot and excessive 'pearl harbor' syndrome...

N damn... the battles... the blood... the decapitated body parts.. the merciless killing of the wounded....
juz makes u feel like killing someone...
N besides, its history... i love history...

The quote above is the last line in the film.... whch i thk did a very good job in portraying the birth and defence of democracy...

All throughout the film, hints and signs used to symbolize the flaws in religion are scattered.... From the corrupt priest, to the mundane and often times illogical rituals and practices of religion... it juz makes the atheist in me smile... LOL....

Freedom was born of blood of tyranny... And from the ashes of tyranical darkness, rose the values of Democracy....

Reason is yet to be born..... And enlightenment awaits to be freed from the shackles of mystic theism....

The blood of mysticism needs to be shed.....
